South Morang Childcare Centre - Paradise Kids Philosophy The staff at Paradise Kids Children's Centre aim to provide a safe, warm, secure environment for your child.  It is the aim of our staff to create a 'homely' centre where all children feel welcome and are able to express themselves in a positive and productive way.  Using positive guidance, children are able to develop a positive self esteem.  Our diverse program uses observations and evaluations and encompasses all areas of development -language, cognitive, social and emotional, fine motor and gross motor skills - and is based on the individual child and their interests.  Staff are an integral part of our centre and are encouraged to continue their professional development to enhance the program.  Children are provided with opportunities to experience both indoor and outdoor activities and rest times are provided through the day. We respect all children and their families and welcome parent involvement in decision making in the form of advice, suggestions and time spent with the children at the centre.   With a positive partnership with our families Paradise Kids Children's Centre values each of our families.

Paradise Kids's educational framework is based upon the belief that it is through play and children’s natural curiosity to explore and experiment, to which skills are achieved at individual levels. Every child at Paradise Kids is encouraged to reach their full potential. We encourage the children to explore their strengths and therefore gain confidence. The ability to construct and direct their learning with our early childhood qualified professionals provides a dynamic culture and environment that is a natural extension to their home environment every member of the Paradise Kids's team respects that every child needs a nurturing relationships with their parents.

 

Respecting that parents are the primary caregiver and first educator, our role is to work in partnership to complement an environment which is positive and caring and where children can learn and feel reassurance.

Paradise Kids Childcare Centre intends to provide a home- away from home environment which stimulates and inspires children’s natural curiosity and delight.

We also recognise the value the diversity of culture within the Australian society. Parents, friends and the wider community are an integral part of a child’s environment. Providing children with exposure to different cultures, music or arts; facilitates the progression of a child’s perception of an integrated society of multiculturalism and equality.
