Mulgrave Early Learning Centre Love Kids - Our Centre   Belinda - Centre Manager Belinda holds a Diploma of Community Services in Childcare and a Graduate in Social Science - Certificate in Pre & Post Natal Family Support. Belinda has been working in the early childhood industry for the past 10 yrs, working her way up to Centre Manager. Belinda was the Assistant Manager at Love Kids for 6 months and before that spent 3 ½ years in various roles and rooms at Love Kids Mulgrave. Belinda believes that all children should be treated equally and respected in a warm and friendly way. The environment should be stimulating, open-ended and full of fun options in play. We are delighted that Belinda is running the centre and look forward to many more years with Mulgrave! Joeys (Nursery Room) 8 weeks - 14 months We provide a home like environment for our little Joeys. We aim to meet your home routine to keep the consistency for your child and meet their individual needs. We offer a wide range of activities to assist them with reaching their milestones and aim to work in partnerships with families to develop and extend on the children's interests and needs.

2 1/2 - 3 years

Children are given the opportunities for self choice activities in all developmental areas both indoors and outdoors. It allows the children to explore the concept of independence and self-help skills such as toilet training, feeding themselves and packing away after activities.

Bilbies (Senior Kindy Room)

3 - 3 1/2 years

This room is full of bustling activity. The children are encouraged to use language and self-help skills throughout their day. The individual programming allows a variety of developmental skills to be developed both within the indoor and outdoor activities, as well as encouraging confidence by also focusing on each child’s strengths. The Bilbies Room also offer an introduction into the Letterland Program that is further developed in the following Possum Room.

Possums (Preschool Room)

3 1/2 - 5 years

We aim to maintain a high quality program that meets and develops both their minds and bodies in a safe and healthy environment. We assist the children in forming social skills, thinking skills, extending self-help skills and further develop the children's fine motor skills by planning activities such as cutting, develop pencil grip. They will learn their colours, shapes, numbers and letters. The children also work on developing gross motor skills by enjoying their own yard with choices of outdoor activities. We offer a Letterland Program that is used to further enhance learning of the alphabet and phonic awareness. Children also have the opportunity to learn basic computer skills with a variety of educational software available on their 2 computers. We encourage parent input to give your child the best start in life.
