Chadstone, Your Local Area
Chadstone is a suburb of Melbourne, in the City of Monash. The City of Monash is one of Melbourne's most populous municipalities, with more than 160,000 residents. It is located 20km south east of the CBD. Monash has some of Melbourne's best known landmarks within its 82 square kilometers, including the Monash Medical Centre, the Victoria Police Academy and Jells Park.
The city boasts fabulous recreations and arts facilities, as well as a diverse quality shopping opportunities, great restaurants and dining places. Chadstone is most famous for the Chadstone Shopping Centre, one of the largest shopping centres in the southern hemisphere. Other landmarks include Jordan Ville Community Centre, the Waverley Basketball Centre and the Matthew Flinders Hotel.
The centre is easily accessible from Huntingdale Road on the corner of Marawarra Crescent, just up from Waverley Road. |
