Nursery Room
6 weeks - 18 months We aim to provide a “home away from home”. In our Nursery the children learn best through being given attention by all staff to meet their needs. We encourage all children to learn to use their senses of touch, smell, taste, sight and hearing. In this time they learn how to move around and how to communicate and relate to staff and other people. |

We allow time for each child to participate and learn as they play by offering a wide range of developmentally appropriate activities whilst respecting that each child is different and requires their own needs met from the transition of home to Kids Club. By doing this we respect and include all children’s needs, interests, likes and dislikes into the daily routine and program planning.
Toddler Room
18 months - 3 years
We aim to encourage all Toddler children to do things for themselves. They are busy, energetic and want to explore everything. Toddler age children move from one type of play to another and spend a great deal of time watching and copying. In our Toddler room we give all children the opportunity to try different ways of solving problems. We focus a lot on self help skills, toilet training, dressing/undressing, helping to pack away, scraping dishes after lunch and washing our own hands. Our dedicated team really enjoy observing development of this age group and we recommend children at this age should be in care at least 2 days per week.
Pre-Kinder Room
3 - 4 years
We aim to provide a fun, learning environment one which is both stimulating and challenging that enhances all areas of development. Our Per-Kinder children are very curious, they find out everything by touching, tasting and smelling and our Pre-Kinders laugh a lot!!We encourage children to communicate positively with both staff and peers and to express themselves freely in a respectful manner. The team get a thrill out observing the social development in this age group!
Kinder Room
4 - 6 years
We aim to prepare children for school focusing on fine motor skills including basic writing, tracing and maths, and to be independent and to do things for themselves. In our Kinder room we provide plenty of time to enjoy learning. They have time to be able to think about things, try them out, and talk about them to themselves and to others. In our program we concentrate on routines and all children are given a choice where ever possible as they like to make decisions for themselves. Kinder staff are enthusiastic which encourages the children to be enthusiastic to learn. We do a lot of group activities so children can feel comfortable with their peers and in a group setting.
