Extra Activities

Jellybean has a calendar of events where once a month special activities take place in the centre. These are special activities to celebrate upcoming events during each month. Some of these include Queens birthday celebrations, red nose day, footy day, Melbourne cup, Anzac day etc. We also have a very focused multicultural program throughout the centre where all days are celebrated with children and families.

Letterland - Successfully teaching your child to read and write

Letterland is a unique, phonics based approach to teaching, reading, writing and spelling for 3-8 year olds. Letterland provides a link between letter sounds and letter shapes.

At Jelly Bean Child Care Centre we believe it is essential that our preschool children are given a solid foundation in phonics before moving to primary school. Letterland helps to build this foundation in a unique play based way.

Your preschool child has free access to computers at Jelly Bean Childcare Centre. This well established and successful system will help teach your child

The School Readiness Program

At Jelly Bean Childcare Centre we work closely with the Primary schools within the local area, ensuring that all our Kinder children are ready for school in every possible way.  Along with the Letter land program the 3-5 room works on the basic needs of the children before the transition to school including being able to sit at group time, confidence to speak in front of the group, taking turns and understanding the needs and differences of other children. 

Jump For Joy

Jelly Bean Childcare Centre offers a weekly dance and drama group with the Jump for Joy programe. Enthusiastic staff host programs that take children on a magical journey with of dance and drama.
