Maroubra Child Care Centre - Bubs Philosophy
The staff and management of Bubs have a strong commitment to providing high quality childcare to all children and families at the centre. We will achieve this by providing a safe, nurturing environment which is inclusive and respects cultural differences and diversity without gender bias. We will work in consultation with other professionals and families to cater for any children with additional needs. We believe that children are unique individuals who learn and develop through the process of exploration within an educational, play based curriculum. |

Our program encourages their physical, social, emotional and cognitive development through individual and group experiences. It is based on the children's interests and caters for their needs, strengths and weaknesses. We believe that school readiness is an ongoing process through play, spontaneous and structured tasks with also the use of the letter land experiences. We aim to encourage and develop language, mathematics, social and physical skills. We promote a mutually beneficial partnership with all families and the wider community, integrating culturally diverse backgrounds, beliefs and attitudes.

We welcome parent participation in the centre and encourage ideas and suggestions from our families. The staff and management are dedicated to teamwork and effective communication. We respect and support each other's beliefs, values and ideas. Our philosophy is based on the knowledge that all staff have a firm belief in the program they deliver. Our staff pride themselves on the positive and close relationships with children and families at the centre, and we feel that we are an extension of our families.
