Anthony Smith
Group General Manager
Anthony commenced his career in the hospitality industry and rapidly gained a reputation for professionalism and a "can do" approach, reaching the level of National Operations Manager for a major hotel company. After related roles in IT, medical services and with a big 4 accounting firm, Anthony was again drawn toward an operational role in a true service and people industry, childcare, where he; before establishing Guardian Childcare Alliance; worked with one of the major child care companies at senior executive level.
Anthony leads the company as chief executive of Guardian Childcare Alliance. As well as overall responsibility for the day to day operations, Anthony is particularly responsible for strategic planning, centre management and quality assurance.
