Anthony Smith
Group General Manager and Executive Director

Anthony leads the company as Chief Executive of Guardian Childcare Alliance. As well as overall responsibility for the day to day operations, Anthony is particularly responsible for strategic planning, corporate development and quality assurance.

Anthony commenced his career in the hospitality industry and rapidly gained a reputation for professionalism and a "can do" approach, reaching the level of National Operations Manager for a major hotel company. After related roles in IT, medical services and with a Big Four accounting firm, Anthony was again drawn toward an operational role in a people industry...childcare. Prior to launching Guardian, he worked also with one of the major child care management companies at senior executive level.
