Flagstone Kids Education Centre believes that each child is their own unique individual that develops at their own pace through exploring and discovering their own environment around them. We believe that all the children should be treated equally, and their cultural and linguistic diversity embraced and acknowledged as their families values and cultural diversity is celebrated and reflected in our programs. We believe in providing an environment that is secure, caring, loving, nurturing and anti bias, an environment that will cater for the needs of the children and encouraging the development of all areas.Flagstone Kids Education centre encourages the interest and involvement of parents within the centre as it is vital to help establish the links between the centre and home.  Parents are encouraged to be involved in the centre through our Open Door Policy. 		  





We believe that the children’s independence and self esteem will be encouraged as the children learn to value and respect each other’s differences as they make choices, and take responsibilities. We provide a program that provides the children with time and choices to develop the physical, intellectual, language, creativity, social and emotional areas within the learning environment.Flagstone’s staff show commitment, skills and energy as a crucial element in our centre.  We encourage staff input and provide ongoing training and learning in the childcare field.  At Flagstone Kids Education centre, we believe that positive encouragement and reinforcements are used as tools to direct and promote behaviours.  Through positive encouragement and experiences we aim to build high self-esteem and self worth.

We value uniqueness and nurture future growth by embracing the individual, recognising areas of interest, developing respectful interactions, providing positive guidance, supporting ongoing learning, offering inclusive programs and promoting Self Help Skills and Teamwork. Our centre reflects the needs of the local community, and the families who rely on the services we provide. These needs are reviewed regularly based on the requirements of the community. Our values become a shared commitment between families, children and staff. By working together with open communications, respect and understanding, and by sharing ideas and striving for continuing improvement and excellent standards, all parties will gain the benefits.
